Spring is now, Summer is soon !
So it’s MAY and things here in Connecticut are mostly green.
With that the pollen count is up and we all know what that means for some . I wish the best to those that have that problem.
In early MAY I thought the strap to my camera was around my wrist better than it was. I broke my only digital lens that I have. Things have been pretty tight sorry. Anyway the lens was pretty sweet 18-70mm 3.5-4F-stop.
So luckily I was able to grab one of my OLD analog lens and continue working with that.
So those of you that know a little about me, know that I’m pretty much a old school type of photographer.
I don’t crop unless I’m told to or it’s necessary. But with the advent of digital and money I went with a zoom lens.
So I have been using the same camera and lens for the past seven + years I have been shooting with the same lens and camera. Ya I know boo-hoo. Yet my point is when you shoot that often, that much you really get use to that one tool. That way of seeing / thinking.
It's a real head thing. I got soo use to it ,that my way of seeing flowed to point of seeing and thinking that way.
Then BOOM; now All I’m using is a 35mm : 1.4f lens. Jump back seven years to fix lens thoughts, seeing and movement; step forward, step back
and all.
Forgive me I’m just trying to explain some of the changes that I’m going through.
I don’t know if anyone finds this interesting or not. Comments are welcomed.
So if you see a change in my work you’ll now know way.
I am working on a new camera and lens. But with the pandemic and all. That's a whole other story.
